The Board of Commissioners for Grant County, Washington fully supports the efforts of Grant
County Fire District No. 7 to acquire new Air Packs through a FEMA grant. Our local fire
districts are volunteer organizations with each department staffed by members of the community
who offer their time for training and calls.
We also recognize that volunteers are hard to come by and we support all efforts that our Fire
Districts initiate to identify, acquire and train volunteers. Part of this effort involves providing
quality fire gear, including Air Packs.
Grant County fully supports the efforts of Grant County Fire District No. 7"s to procure this
grant for new Air Packs.
