Re: Consent to Purchase lighting for the Commercial building
Per the approved 2020 Capital budget for lighting improvements at the Fairgrounds, I would
like to use $2637.80 of the $45,000 designated for lighting to change the light fixtures in the
commercial building from the current incandescent bulbs to LED bulbs. This is one element of
the lighting improvement project the capital was planned for.
Other projects include $25,000 for new lighting around the Purple gate and $15,000 for lighting
along the sheep barns across from the office.
This will save on electricity and provide better lighting to increase the safe operating
environment in the building.
I request authorization to purchase lights using our Amazon Business account.
