Per the approved 2020 Capital budget an RFP was sent out to four vendors of Readerboards.
See attached. The budgeted amount for this purchase was $45,000. The RFP requested the
largest readerboard possible with a 10mm dot pitch (Very fine)
Responses are shown:
Ramsay Signs (Spokane) - $44,930 delivered, on Vendor Roster
Stewart Signs (Florida) $45,000 delivered, on Vendor Roster
LED Sign Supply (Texas) $44,868.48 delivered, on Vendor Roster
Columbia Signs (Moses Lake) No bid — On Vendor Roster
I request authorization to purchase from Ramsay Signs of Spokane. The sign is a Watchfire
which is the same brand the Ephrata Chamber recently installed. They also have the best
Warranty and are close enough to Moses Lake to make warranty work accessible. They also
provided the best detail with regards to viewing area. Central Services, along with staff at the
grounds, will do the installation.
