ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following examples of duties and accountabilities illustrate the general range of tasks assigned to the position but are not intended to define the limits of required duties. Employee must comply with all County and department policies, procedures, WAC's, or other regulatory bodies. • Ability to keep children safe. • Keep kids active with specifically designed age group activities such as games and crafts. • Perform related duties as needed to ensure project success. EDUCATION EXPERIENCE and LICENSING To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required: Incumbents are required to have demonstrated substantial knowledge and abilities in these areas: • High School Diploma or GED; • Good communication and people skills; • Demonstrated patience and re -directional skills; • Fluent Spanish and English speaking abilities; • Valid Washington State Driver's License: Must have a safe reliable vehicle with proof of automobile insurance • Background Check: Must have an acceptable background report, at time of hire and every three years afterward • Ability to attend evening and weekend sessions and Coalition meetings as needed; • CPR Certification; and • First Aid Training. PHYSICAL ABILITIES WORKING CONDITIONS The majority of work is performed in an office environment. During peak times, incumbents may be confronted with conflicting work priorities.
