1. PFML Leave Buy -Back Board Direction Given. With the 2°d phase of the
implementation of Washington Paid Family & Medical
Leave, there is the potential of Employers choosing to
establish policies which augment the program. An
example would be to implement a leave buy-back policy
to reclaim banked leave used while the Employee is
waiting for the State to authorize their PFML application.
The Board's direction is that Grant County will not
augment the program beyond what is required by law at
this time.
