Subject: Port of Royal Slope —SIP grant 2019-10
Dear Commissioners:
The SIP Committee is recommending Grant County disburse to the Port of Royal Slope a previous award
grant (2019-10) in the amount of $133,000 in 5 -year increments of $26,600. This would still equal the
awarded amount $133,000. This will help maximize the Port of Royal Slopes CERB award they received.
As a reminder, this award will help locate Torklift, Inc. into the vacant facility Eldorado Stone used to
occupy. It will create 90 jobs immediate and ramp up to 180 jobs in Royal City.
