Per our recent discussion on tourism related projects at the Fairgrounds I am requesting the
following be funded from the Tourism revenue.
$40,000 for 2020 Fair Entertainment. This will allow us to bring in some more known acts to
increase attendance and overnight stays in the area.
$30,000 Barn 46 Floor rebuild. This will allow us to turn the barns quicker and make
maintenance easier. It will also help us keep the stalls sanitary which will attract additional
equestrian events. This will increase overnight stays in the area.
$20,000 for campground signage. This will help us provide better information to our camping
clientele on the area, amenities, etc and will provide a better camping experience which, in
turn, will increase campground usage.
Please authorize the above projects to be funded from Tourism revenue.
