RESOLUTION No. 20- 0o I -CC
WHEREAS, the Grant County Sheriff's Office Fund #001, Department #114 does not
have an adequate level of budget appropriation to receive US Department of Homeland Security
grant funds through the State Emergency Management Division #E19-110 for FY2018 to
purchase new office furniture, ceiling speakers, three (3) TV's and speakers, and
antennas/cabling for the ham radios to be installed; and
WHEREAS, this additional budget expenditure was not anticipated when preparing the
2020 budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to
authorize additional budget appropriations.
WHEREAS, on the 28 h day of January, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., a public hearing was held in
the Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that a
budget appropriation in the total amount of $25,217.47 to be allocated to the 2020 budget
according to the following schedule of categories and items:
