The Fairgrounds has typically maintained a $600 Petty Cash fund in the office. The fund is only
used for Exhibitor Registration during Fair. I do not feel it is necessary to have $600 sitting in
the safe for 11 months of the year when it is not being used. Our new proposed process will be
to ask for the funds the same way we do the Fair Start-up fund.
I am requesting permission to terminate the Petty Cash Fund at the Fairgrounds and then
deposit the money back into our account per the Auditor's office process.
n y for your consideration
