The commissioners previously approved resolution 19-115 for the Sheriff's Office to
expend $25,217.47 for furniture, technology, and antennas/cabling for Emergency
Management Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
Due to lack of time, these vouchers were not processed in the 2019 budget. I am
asking for permission to expend these funds in the 2020 budget. These funds will
come from US Department of Homeland Security grant funds through Washington
State Emergency Management Division #E19-110 for FY2018.
The Sheriffs Office received authority from Washington State EMD grants
division to purchase the above listed items to outfit the new EOC space. The
purchase of these items will allow the space to be utilized when the EOC is
activated, and used for trainings/meetings.
