Re: Request for Travel & Meal Expenses for 2019/2020 Board of Equalization
(BOE) Members
The Grant County Board of Equalization is requesting an exception to policy regarding travel
and meals. Mileage reimbursement will be at the current county rate, however, we request the
following rates apply to the BOE members for calendar year 2020:
• Meals will be reimbursed at a 2020 per diem rate and classified as "in travel status" when
the members are attending meetings, training, or hearings that scheduled for or extend to
a total of four (4) hours. If 4 hour criteria is met, reimbursement will be made for lunch
meal only, utilizing the standard rate of $ 14.00/meal.
