Dear Commissioner Taylor:
We thank Grant County for its confidence in Prothman to assist in providing sourcing and
outreach services for the recruitment of its new County Engineer. The following represents a
scope of work for these services and the associated professional fee and expenses.
Sourcing & Outreach
Position Profile Development
Working with you, we will create a position profile. This document will be posted on our
website. Profiles include the following:
♦ A description of the ideal candidate's qualifications
♦ Organization -specific information
♦ Community -specific information
♦ Compensation package details
♦ Information on how to apply
Advertising & Outreach Strategy
Our staff will handle all advertising and outreach on your behalf. We have an aggressive
recruitment strategy which involves the following:
♦ Print and Internet -based Ads placed nationally in professional publications,
journals and on related websites.
♦ Targeted Candidate Outreach via direct mail recruitment brochures sent
directly to hundreds of county/city engineers/PE's who are not actively searching
for a new position.
♦ Focused Candidate Outreach via thousands of personal emails from our
PE/engineer database.
♦ Posting the Position Profile on Prothman's Facebook and Linkedln pages,
and on the Prothman website, which receives over five thousand visits per
month from potential candidates.
Posting on Prothman Website & Application Collection
We will post your position on the Prothman Website on our "Open Recruitments" page.
When candidates click on the "apply now", they will automatically be linked to Grant
County's online application process.
Grant County handles all screening and interviews from this point.

Professional Fee & Expenses
Fee: The fee for a Sourcing & Outreach Recruitment is $4,000.
Expenses: We do not mark up expenses. Grant County will be responsible for reimbursing
expenses Prothman incurs on your behalf. Expense include:
• Newspaper, trade journal, websites and other advertising ($800)
• Direct mail announcements ($1,600)
• Any client -required licenses, fees or taxes
Total Cost: The total cost for a sourcing & outreach recruitment is $6,400, billed at the
beginning of the recruitment.
Warranty
If a candidate is not chosen from the first pool of applicants, we will repeat the process with
no additional fee, the only cost to you would be the cost for the advertising and direct mail.
