Re: Request to proceed to purchase approved Capital Outlay 2019
• GETAC Mobile Data Terminal (MDT)
I am requesting to move forward with spending previously approved 2019 Capital
Outlay items.
The Sheriff's Office intended on purchasing a GETAC Mobile Data Terminal (MDT)
with monies previously approved as capital outlay ($5,800.00). However, after
rigorous field testing of this product, a decision was made not to move forward with
the purchase.
I am requesting to utilize these monies to outfit our newly purchased command bus
with mission critical technology.
• Tait mobile radio - $2,500
• Wireless components/accessories- $1,000
• Cradlepoint with antenna & mounting gasket- $2,000
• Ram upgrades for 3, computers- $300.00
