RE: Award of Contract to Southern Bleacher Company Inc
The Bleachers at the Fairgrounds constructed originally by the "Southern Bleacher Company"
did not include the option of stopping garbage from falling underneath the bleachers which has
created a mess that negatively impacts the fairgrounds and the experience of the fairgoers.
Central Services reached out to the Southern Bleacher Company and received a quote for
$38,800.00 to install aluminum angle that will prevent garbage from falling out of the stands
have included the quote with this request. The total cost of this project with tax and bond is
$42,401.42
Central Services is requesting the Boards permission to award the work to Southern Bleacher and
would pay for this work with funds awarded specifically for this project in the 2020 capital
budget that was recently adopted.

Re: Grant County Fair Arena Bleachers — Closures — Moses Lake, WA
Southern Bleacher is pleased to provide the following proposal for your consideration. We are providing
pricing on providing and installing a 3" x 6 %" x 6' long mill aluminum closure angle under the seats on the
semi -closed deck portion of both bleachers. This angle will attach to the exiting foot board and riser
board and will have a notch to allow the existing seat bracket to pass though. The angle will keep trash
from falling through the opening under the seat to the area below the bleacher.
Base Proposal: $38,800.00
Bond Add Rate: 1%
Exclusions:
• Any taxes, bonds, permits, fees, testing, licenses, etc.
• Any allowances or work not specifically described above
The anticipated completion time is 120 days of receipt of approved submittal drawings.
Submittal drawings will be transmitted within four weeks of executed contract. This proposal is
valid for 30 days.
