As per resolution No. 19 -009 -CC, Grant County created an eligibility list for Architectural and
Engineering services and subsequently selected a number of firms to provide services as needed
for the County.
Central Services is asking the Boards approval to enter into a professional agreement with
Erlandsen and Associates from that eligibility list to perform Architectural and Engineering
services for the Fairgrounds.
As per the eligibility guidelines the fee cannot exceed $75,000 per task and currently the County
plans to provide a single task order to Erlandsen and Associates for the review, design and
engineering of the campground facilities with the stated goal of expanding certain areas while
reviewing and redesigning others to create RV and camping areas that will efficiently serve the
Fairgrounds, its events, and patrons in the most safe and efficient manner while also providing
economic enhancement to the fairgrounds in the future.
Facilities and the Fairgrounds both were awarded $75,000 for these services in the 2020 budget
and the Director of Central Services in coordination with the Director of the Fairgrounds will
decide which department will ultimately pay for these services.
