RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE RESOLUTION No. 19- (l -CC
CREATION OF A NEW FUND TITLED
CRIMINAL JUSTICE CONSTRUCTION
— SALESIUSE TAX #311.000
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners
that a new fund #311.000 titled "Criminal Justice Construction — Sales/Use Tax" should be
established; and
WHEREAS, this fund shall be dedicated to the construction costs incurred pursuant to
Proposition No. 1 — Sales and Use Tax for Criminal Justice purposes as passed by the voters of
Grant County on November 5, 2019; and
WHEREAS, monies from this fund will only be used for Criminal Justice related
expenses incurred in accordance with Proposition 1; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of this fund may be accomplished without a public
hearing pursuant to state and county budget laws.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON that
fund #311.000 titled "Criminal Justice Construction — Sales/Use Tax" is hereby created and
established as listed above and the Grant County Auditor and the Grant County Treasurer are
hereby directed to establish this fund in their respective offices.
