Please add the attached out of state travel request to the next available consent agenda. I am seeking approval for
Elisabeth to attend the annual ESRI conference in San Diego. This is the same event that Elisabeth has traveled to for
the past several years. There is sufficient funding in the Planning Division budget for 2020 to cover the trip with no
budget extension required.

I would like to ask permission to attend the Esri International User Conference July 13 —July 17,
2020 in San Diego, California. Registration opens in early December 2019. Hotel rooms at the
per diem rate fill up quickly.
I have attended the conference several times, and find it to be an excellent conference and
valuable opportunity to learn new techniques and stay current with software that changes
frequently.
The conference registration fee, valued at $1,595.00 per person, is included in our annual
maintenance contract.
There are no meals provided by the conference.
