A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE RESOLUTION No. 19-/D7 -CC
REACTIVATION OF FUND #509 AND
TITLE IT "LEOFF 1 BENEFITS"
WHEREAS, Fund #509 was previously closed on May 23, 2017 (Vision Insurance); and
WHEREAS, it has been requested of the Board of County Commissioners that this fund
#509 be reactivated and title it "LEOFF 1 Benefits"; and
WHEREAS, this fund shall be dedicated to the LEOFF 1 contributions paid by the
Sheriff's Office and pay the actual LEOFF 1 claims and benefit administration fees from this
fund; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of said fund may be accomplished without a public
hearing pursuant to state and county budget laws.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON that
fund #509 titled "LEOFF 1 Benefits" is hereby created and established as listed above and the
Grant County Auditor and the Grant County Treasurer are hereby directed to establish this fund
in their respective offices.
