10:32 a.m. The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider an emergency
budget extension from the Sheriff s Office in the amount of $6,000.00 for the emergency repairs
of the Corrections facility walk-in cooler (approx.. $3,595.58) and to fix a hole in the ceiling of a
jail cell created by an inmate (approx. $2,000.00). They are requesting current expense funds.
Joe Kriete, Chief Deputy, discussed the request.
A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Carter to close the
public comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Carter
moved to approve the budget extensions as presented. Commissioner Stevens seconded and the
motion passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned.
