I am requesting an unforeseen, emergency budget extension in the total amount of
$6000 from current expense. The first item that is in need of repair is the main
Corrections facility walk in food cooler. The condensing unit went out and the
estimated cost is $3595.58. This walk in cooler is the main cooler where perishable
foods are stored for approximately 170 inmates.
The second item is a one foot in diameter hole in the ceiling of a cell in D Dorm.
This hole created by an inmate who has since been criminally charged for malicious
mischief 2nd degree.
This hole renders this maximum security cell inoperable due to safety and security
reasons. This has happened in the past and the cost was approximately $2000.
