The Northwest Institute of Addictions Studies is hosting their 45`n annual conference July 10`n, 2019 through
July 12`n, 2019 in Portland, Oregon. Sarah Bates has requested to attend this training.
Travel dates will be Tuesday, July 9`n, 2019, and a return date of Friday, July 12`n
Grant Integrated Services supports Sarah's attendance at this event. Here are the reasons Sarah has
requested to attend this training:
"The overall focus of this conference is the integration of behavioral health care. This training and
opportunity for networking with other integrated services will give me more skills and/or ideas to bring back
to GrIS as we continue to move forward with our integration. Two of the workshops I am most looking
forward to are the medication assisted treatments and opiate treatments. These issues are both on the rise
in Grant County it would allow me to gain a greater understanding of how these substances have an effect on
clients, the environment and the families involved."
