PESI is hosting their Disarming the Suicidal Mind training May 30t1, 2019 through May 3151, 2019 in Portland,
Oregon. Ricardo Gamez has requested to attend this training.
Travel dates will be Thursday, May 30t1, 2019, and a return date of Friday, May 31st.
Grant Integrated Services supports Ricardo's attendance at this event. Here are the reasons Ricardo has
requested to attend this training:
"This evidence based training will provide me with the knowledge to analyze the epidemiology of suicide and
self -harm as it relates to clinical practice. I will also be able to recognize risk factors associated with suicide
attempts, as well as long-term and imminent warning signs to improve client level of functioning. This
training will allow me to overcome clinical challenges with suicidal clients and improve their treatment
outcomes."
