I am requesting your authorization for Out of State Travel for the members of our Honor Guard.
Their presence has been requested by Behind the Badge Foundation, for the memorial service
for fallen Cowlitz County Sheriff Deputy. The service will be held at the University of Portland,
April 24", in Portland Oregon. They will travel over April 23`d and stay I night, returning
immediately following the service.
Those planning to attend include- Corporals Patrick Pitt, Jason Ball, Deputy's Katrina Ball,
Carlos Avila, Thomas Tufte, Ryan Haring, Adam Hunt and Jaret Fulbright.
I apologize for the short notice. We, as an agency, pride ourselves in being "at the ready" for any
and all needs that may arise to show our respect to those who give so much.
