1:32 p.m. The Grant County Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider an
application for Classification as Open Space Land for Current Use Assessment under Chapter
84. p
34 RCW from James and Rosanne Krehbiel Trust to reclassify their parcel as Farm and
Agriculture Conservation Land. Property is located at 22987 Rd 7 -NE, Moses Lake, 316 -acres
within the East half of S 3 5, T20 N, R3 0 EWM (Parcel No. 181-403 -000).
Amy Perez, Assessor Deputy III stated this parcel is part of a Farm and Ag Compliance Review
which is done every 6 years. The current person who is renting the property is retiring so the
owner is looking for another person to lease the property. Ms. Perez recommended the owner
apply for the Ag Conservation program as he does fall into the category. He has beeneneratin

income from a lease. It is good for 5 years to either get back into farming, lease thero ert or
sell it.

A motion was made by Commissioner Carter, seconded by Commissioner Stevens to close the
public comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Stevens
moved to approve the reclassification to Farm Ag Conservation as presented. Commissioner
Carter seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned.
