RESOLUTION AWARDING A SUB- RESOLUTION - b
O UTION No. 19 CC
GRANT TO THE REGIONAL BOARD
OF MAYORS, ELECTRIC CITY, FOR
THE REIMBURSMENT OF OIL
RECYCLING COSTS AT THE DELANO
REGIONAL TRANSFER STATION -
WHEREAS, Grant County has obtained a Local Solid Waste Financial Assistance grant
from the Washington State Department of Ecology; and
WHEREAS, Grant County desires to award a sub -grant to the Regional Board of
Mayors, Electric City, to offset the costs of an oil recycling program at the Delano Regional
Transfer Station; and
WHEREAS, funds provided to the Regional Board of Mayors, Electric City, will not
exceed $2,625, for the reimbursement of costs associated with the used oil collection program for
the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2021; and
WHEREAS, the Regional Board of Mayors will provide a 25% cash match to the
program; and
WHEREAS, the Regional Board of Mayors shall provide supporting documentation for
reimbursement, including but not limited to billing statements and invoices; and
WHEREAS, The Regional Board of Mayors shall, at all times, follow, adhere to and
abide by all Local Solid Waste Financial Assistance grant rules and guidelines set by the
Washington State Department of Ecology.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County
Board of Commissioners, APPROVE, a sub -grant awarding the Regional Board of Mayors,
Electric City, for the reimbursement of oil recycling costs at the Delano Regional Transfer
Station.
