RE: Monies owing to process deed from Nora Pearl Fletcher and Grant County dated 6/18/18
on parcel 17--1293-003
The Dept. of Revenue has determined that excise tax is owing on both the land and the
building 2018 assessed value if allowable exemptions are not claimed with required documents.
Land value is 42,000 and building value is 42,960.
Based on total value of the conveyance, excise tax on 84,960 amounts to 1,866.38 if paid by
4/30/19.
Also required to be paid is 103.00 for the Current Use removal fee.
To pay these, please make out a warrant for $1,969.38 to the Grant County Treasurer.
To pay the Auditor's recording fees, please make out a warrant for $100.00 to the Grant
County Auditor.
