Currently Dorm L is being used for bed space to house inmates. This room wasn't designed to house inmates because it was originally a storage room when the facility opened up in 1986. Currently Dorm L is closed and not housing any inmates because of the possibility of mold being present in the room. We have a company, referred from Central Services, who has come in and tested the air quality. The Air Circulation project will provide better air quality to make the dorm habitable. Currently there is very limited air circulation because it isn't tied in with the current HVAC system. We will be obtaining three (3) comparable and competitive quotes from businesses. on the small works roster. Since this project is under $35,000; the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder as indicated in RCW: 39.04.155. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. .ae uem Chief Deputy Grant County Sheriff's Office P.O.
