Grant County acquired this parcel years ago for $65,000 with Mental Health monies (I was told) for a
potential building site that ended up not being needed. This parcel is behind property owned by
Cacchiotti Properties LLC at 1042 W Ivy Ave on B Street per the enclosed map. If the parcel is no longer
in the counties long term plans to use, then consideration should be made to declare the parcel surplus
for sale in a public auction to recover monies for the Mental Health fund and put back on the tax rolls.
This parcel's current assessed value it $43,200.00. Please review if there is a need to start the process to
declare this parcel surplus.
