The following is the recommendation of the committee. According RCW 67.28.1816 (2)(iii) it is required that the municipality's legislative body make the final determination. Those in attendance; Goldye Moyer, Cindy Carter, Kevin Danby, Marilyn Meseberg, Debbie Doran -Martinez and Bev Shuford. Guests were introduced, each presented their projects for up to five minutes: Central Basin Community Concert Association —Julie Fix Columbia Basin Allied -Shawn Cardwell Columbia Basin Youth Baseball — Randy Boruff Coulee Corridor Consortium — Mark Amara and Denis Felton Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce — Peggy Nevsimal Grant County Fairgrounds—Jim McKiernan Masquers Theater of Grant County — Cheri Barbre and Daryl Pheasant Grant County Mosquito Control District #2 — Scott Gerrits Moses Lake Museum & Art Center— Freya Liggett and Mark Amara Moses Lake Spring Festival — Lori Valdez and Robert Jones Quincy Historical Society — Harriet Weber Tom Finken Memorial Charities—Jim May Visit Washington —Terry Quick Discussions held: There are three areas of regulation for use of the LTAC funding which include Promotions, Entertainment and Capital Improvements for government owned facilities. At the present time, this LTAC committee specifically uses funding for advertising/promotions only. Committee will look at expanding the choices and change the application for next year. Debbie made the motion and Kevin seconded, motion approved. The committee asked that all events funded by the LTAC be added to the website. Bill will be contacted. Jerry will include the Grant County Logo with all award letters. Kevin abstained from voting on Ephrata requests. Budget for LTAC awards is $100,000 this year. Committee agreed to $90,000 and remainder transferred back to Emerging Events line item in the Tourism budget. Debbie made the motion and Goldye seconded it, motion approved. Awards presented for approval to Commissioners: $10,000 Central Basin Community Concert Assoc. ask they expand advertising outside of our area to increase overnight stays, educate on the logo usage. Thank you $90,000 Total Funding Debbie made the motion to accept allocations, Kevin seconded, motion approved. Goldye made the motion to adjourn the meeting, Cindy seconded, motion approved.
