Grant County Public Works 124 Enterprise St SE Ephrata, WA BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington RESOLUTION VACATING 24 NE 51960 RESOLUTION No. 19- -CC mp 0.62 to mp 1.45 AND P NE 53750 mp 0.00 to mp 1.00 in Sections 34 & 35 T23N R29EWM AND Sections 02 T22N R29EWM WHEREAS, Grant County, Washington, has received a petition to vacate portions of certain County road and rights-of-way described as follows: Legal description: 24 NE 51960 mp 0.62 to mp 1.45 AND P NE 53750 mp 0.00 to mp 1.00 in Sections 34 & 35 T23N R29EWM AND Sections 02 T22N R29EWM AS SHOWN on ATTACHED EXHIBIT A, and With a 60 ft, radius cul-de-sac to be dedicated and constructed by Stevens et al., and WHEREAS, a notice of hearing on the report for vacation and abandonment was published in the County official newspaper at least once a week for two consecutive weeks preceding the date fixed for the hearing; and a copy of said notice was posted for at least twenty days preceding the date fixed for hearing at each termini of the county road or portion thereof to be vacated or abandoned; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did consider the report given by the County Road Engineer, together with any evidence for or objection against said vacation and abandonment; and 1418087 11/25/2019 01:26 PM RESOL Page 2 of 4 R 106.50 Grant Co, WA Y:\Barb\2019_projects\Vacati( GRANT COUNTY COMMISSIONERS 11111111 III 111111111111111111111111111111111 Ilii 111111111111111111111 III 11111111111111 IN WHEREAS, the above described County right-of-way is not useful as part of the County road system and the public will be benefitted by the vacation and abandonment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County Board of Commissioners, APPROVE: VACATING all interest in the County road and right-of-way as described above; EXCEPT any existing easement to accommodate existing power lines, communications lines and other franchised and/or permitted public and private utilities. VACATION is only valid with accompanying easement from Stevens of the cul-de-sac outside of the existing rights-of-way. Vacation will not be filed until easement is recorded and cul-de-sac constructed and approved by Grant County. DATED this day of h42V 2019.
