Ree Resolution to Create a New Fund for #141.001, SHB 7406, Affordable and Supportive Housing
Substitute House Bill 1406 allows local jurisdictions (cities and counties) to impose a local state -shared
sales and use tax to fund affordable and supportive housing.
The requirements for the county to impose this sales and use tax were:
Adopt a resolution declaring Grant County's intent to levy a portion of the State's sales tax (Resolution
No. 19 -064 -CC; and adopt into legislation an ordinance to authorize the tax (Ordinance No. 19 -088 -
CC).
The final part of this is to create a fund for the use of these monies.
