RESOLUTION for VACATING M.5 NW RESOLUTION No. 19- 1 -CC
roadlog 32750 BMP 0.511 to EMP 1.032 in
the North 1/2 of Section 26 T21N R24EWM
WITH an EASEMENT
WHEREAS, Grant County, Washington, has received a petition to vacate portions of
certain County road and rights-of-way described as follows:
Legal description: M.5 NW roadlog 32750 BMP 0.511 to EMP 1.032 parcel 15-1224-003 in
the North 1/2 of Section 26 T21N R24EWM, and
AS SHOWN on ATTACHED EXHIBIT A, and
WHEREAS, a notice of hearing on the report for vacation was published in the County
official newspaper at least once a week for two consecutive weeks preceding the date fixed for the
hearing; and a copy of said notice was posted for at least twenty days preceding the date fixed for
hearing at each termini of the county road or portion thereof to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, an Easement for road M.5 NW on the as -built alignment has been furnished, to
be filed consecutive to this vacation, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did consider the report given by the
County Road Engineer, together with any evidence for or objection against said vacation with
easement; and
WHEREAS, the above described County right-of-way is not useful as part of the County
road system and the public will be benefitted by the vacation and rededication of an easement
thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County Board
of Commissioners, APPROVE: VACATING all interest in the County right-of-way as described
above; EXCEPT any existing easement to accommodate existing power lines, communications lines
and other franchised and/or permitted public and private utilities. VACATION is only valid with
accompanying easement for the road M.5 NW in the north % of section 26 T21 N R24EWM.
Vacation will not be filed until easement is ready to be recorded in consecutive order.
