Central Services held a bid opening on March 14, 2023, at 2 pm, for project number CSD2303
"Fairgrounds Horse Barns Leveling Project," approved on the 2023 Capital budget. The
The project is a safety -positive and maintenance reduction project that will level out the stalls of
three horse barns (48 stalls), creating a safer stall for horses and reduced upkeep with easier
cleaning for maintenance staff.
Three responsive bids were received,
Stans Construction and Son $83,671.06
J.M. Pacific $78,553.20
A&K Construction $153,936.23 (all bids shown include sales tom)
This project was approved and funded through REST II with $96,000 allocated. (Fund number
132.178.00.9123.594756003/4).
With the Board's permission, Central Services will award and provide a contract to J.M Pacific
for $78,553.20. Central Services would like to reserve the right to hold excess budgeted funds in
case of change orders or to move to another project as may be needed this year.
