To the Board of County Commissioners, Grant County Central Services POBox 37 Ephrata WA 98823 (509) 754-2011 Ext -3276 March 15, 2023 Central Services held a bid opening on March 14, 2023, at 2:30 pm, for project number CSD2301 "Fairgrounds Horse Barns Paving Project," approved on the 2023 Capital budget. Although not explicitly listed, it is needed to support the approved "Stall Building" project and the "Move 3 "Noble" barn project. The project will see the infill of an area behind the rodeo grounds with a paved surface where two new "Noble" barns will be constructed and where the "3 "Nobles" approved to be moved" will be relocated. This bid is only for the infill and paving of the surface to prepare it for the construction of the new barns and relocation of three existing barns. Six responsive bids were received, H&H Construction $186,798.64 Quality Paving $82,232.00 (all bids shown include sales tax) J.M. Pacific $96,568.50 Central Paving $89,551.73 Central Washington Asphalt $91,970.00 Eastside Asphalt $59,510.00 This project was approved and funded through REET I with $200,000 allocated. (Fund number 126.168.00.9123.594186003/4) And also supported by REET I $90,000 allocated (Fund number 126.168.00.9123.594186003/4) (These are the "stall buildings" and "move three nobles," respectively) With the Board's permission, Central Services will award and provide a contract to Eastside Asphalt for $ 5 9,5 10 .
