HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 21-003-CCBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington RESOLUTION IN RE: STRATEGIC INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM ADVISORY COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FUNDING RESOLUTION No. 21- (�)3 -CC WHEREAS, The Grant County (County) Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approved a Strategic Infrastructure Program Prioritization Process; and WHEREAS, the BOCC found it in the best interests of the County to set up a committee to facilitate local coordination and communication; and WHEREAS, the Strategic Infrastructure Program (SIP) Committee (Committee) has submitted recommendations for funding; and WHEREAS, the BOCC has reviewed recommendation(s) submitted by the Committee; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS APPROVED THE SIP ADVISORY COMMITTEE FUNDING RECOMMENDATIONS ON NOVEMBER 24, 2020 AS FOLLOWS: Port of Quincy Intermodal Yard Container Expansion — Phase 2 2020-06 $300,000 Grant These funds shall be utilized within one year of award or returned to the fund for use by other recipients. Attachment GRANT COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Memo To: Board of County Commissioners From: Janice Flynn, Administrative Services Coordinator Dates November 18, 2020 Re: SIP Advisory Committee Recommendations on SIP No. 2020-05 and SIP No. 2020-06 The SIP Advisory Committee met on Friday, October 30, 2020 to review and make a recommendation on the above -referenced projects. The Committee's recommendations were provided to the BOCC the week of November 16, 2020 and a copy of the Committee's letter is attached to this Memo. These projects are set for BOCC action on November 24, 2020: 1. SIP Project #2020-05: Port of Quincy — Industrial Park #4 Rail Extension Conceptual Plan. The Port's request was for $42,500.00 grant and $42,500.00 in loan SIP funding for a total of $85,000.00.
