RESOLUTION IN RE: STRATEGIC RESOLUTION No. 21- 00a -CC
INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FUNDING
WHEREAS, The Grant County (County) Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approved a
Strategic Infrastructure Program Prioritization Process; and
WHEREAS, the BOCC found it in the best interests of the County to set up a committee to
facilitate local coordination and communication; and
WHEREAS, the Strategic Infrastructure Program (SIP) Committee (Committee) has submitted
recommendations for funding; and
WHEREAS, the BOCC has reviewed recommendation(s) submitted by the Committee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS APPROVED THE SIP ADVISORY COMMITTEE FUNDING
RECOMMENDATIONS ON NOVEMBER 24, 2020 AS FOLLOWS:
Port of Quincy 2020-05
Industrial Park #4 Rail Extension Conceptual Plan $42,500.00 Grant
$42,500.00 Loan
These funds shall be utilized within one year of award or returned to the fund for use by other
recipients.

Re: SIP Advisory Committee Recommendations on SIP No. 2020-05 and
SIP No. 2020-06
The SIP Advisory Committee met on Friday, October 30, 2020 to review and make a
recommendation on the above -referenced projects. The Committee's
recommendations were provided to the BOCC the week of November 16, 2020 and a
copy of the Committee's letter is attached to this Memo. These projects are set for
BOCC action on November 24, 2020:
1. SIP Project #2020-05: Port of Quincy — Industrial Park #4 Rail Extension
Conceptual Plan. The Port's request was for $42,500.00 grant and $42,500.00 in loan
SIP funding for a total of $85,000.00.
Action: The BOCC APPROVES or DISAPPROVES the recommendation of
the SIP Advisory Committee to approve $42,500.00 in grant funding and a
$42,500.00 Loan:

Phase 2. The Port's request was for $300,000.00 grant.
Action: The BOCC APPROVES or DISAPPROVES the recommendation of
the SIP Advisory Committee to approve $300,000.00 in grant funding:
