This project position will have the same responsibilities and duties as the current Administrative Support Manager. - This is a "project" position intended to allow the department to create adequate position back-up and training so that the department is not negatively impacted when the incumbent employee decides to retire (as has been shared). The department will require additional action from the Board to a "full-time regular" position. - The position length is anticipated to be up to two years but may be extended depending upon the business need. - This "project" position will receive the same compensation and benefits as the current "full-time regular" position. Commissioners: I created a "Position Management Approval" form (PMA) which is our normal process for documenting changes to position management (count, comp, and description of active positions). I talked to you during my update and Sam Dart talked to you during the PW update. The documentation now matches the requested action. Decorah: you are good to move forward with Sam's position.
