Road G NE was constructed through an agreement behveen Grant County and the Port of Moses Lake, and primarily
serves undeveloped Port property. This road links Hwy 17 to Road 10 NE and opens up development
potential in the north section of the Port property.
The location of the road was determined to best facilitate development of Part property. Under the
agreement between the County and Pon, the road was constructed by the Port, with the 'Intent of it being
turned over to the County after completion of construction. The right-of-way width n minimum width
of 60 feet, meeting County standards. Total cost of the project was $5,535,665.10,including utilities and
SR 17 improvements. SR 17 improvements account for $425,935.00 oche total cost,
The Grant County Public or Office of the County Engineer has inspected the project and finds that
the project was constructed in accordance with the approved plans and meets County Road Standards.
Therefore, the Office of the County Engineer recommends incorporating the road as part of the County
road system f,
