Re: Out of State Travel (Missoula, Montana)
Dear Commissioners,
I am requesting your authorization for Out of State Travel for Detective John Wallace
and Deputy Jefferey Wentworth. They will be attending the 2021 NW Polygraph
Examiners Conference in Missoula Montana. This continued education is required per
WAC to maintain their certification.
The training covers many topics including but not limited to:
*Minimizing Polygraph Confirmation Bias -Screening Testing Methodology
*Improvements -Comparative Analysis of Testing Format
*Multivariate (ESS -M) Identifying Countermeasures
*Computer Algorithm Support
*APA Requirements
They will travel to the training Sunday June 20t", 2021 and return at the conclusion of
the training, June 25111, 2021.
