Vasquez, Clerk of the Board Josh Sainsbury, Chief Deputy Ryan Rectenwald, Sheriff Mireya Garcia, Emergency Management Public: See sign in sheet 3:15 p.m. The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider the following budget extension requests for the Sheriff's Office: • in the amount of $248,,500.00 to purchase Hazardous Materials Response Equipment, training, and repairs for existing equipment using funds received from a Washington Department of Ecology 21-23 Spill Prevention Preparedness and Response Equipment Grant Funding (001.114) • in the amount of $39,700.16 to receive funds from a Washington State Homeland Security Program Grant No. E20-074-1 to purchase Riot Agent Cannisters and Air Purifying respirator systems for the Moses Lake Tactical Response Team. Sheriff Ryan Rectenwald and Emergency Management Specialist Mireya Garcia discussed the requests. A motion was made by Commissioner Carter, seconded by Commissioner Jones, to close the public comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. A motion was made by Commissioner Jones, seconded by Commissioner Carter to approve the budget extensions as presented. The motion passed unanimously.
