RESOLUTION for VACATING the RESOLUTION No. 23- -CC
Cayuse/Miller Corridor Section 25 T20N

WHEREAS, Grant County, Washington, has reviewed a petition to vacate portions of
certain County road and rights-of-way described as follows:
Legal description: Grant County unbuilt right-of-way, E.1 NE north of E.3 NE cul-de-sac,
Cayuse and Miller Plats Section 25 T20N R27EWM, Grant County, Washington, and
AS SHOWN on the Cayuse Major Plat lots 10, 11, and as shown on Exhibit A;
TOGETHER WITH the Miller Plat lots 1, 29 8 & 7; and as shown on EXHIBIT B and,
WHEREAS, a Notice of Hearing on the vacation and abandonment was published in the
County official newspaper at least once a week for 2 consecutive weeks preceding the fixed date for
the hearing, and a copy of said Notice was posted for at least 20 days preceding the date fixed for
hearing at each termini of the county road or portion thereof to be vacated or abandoned; and,
WHEREAS, the owners were also notified by official letter, dated January 12, 2023,
and
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners did consider the report against vacating
given by the County Road Engineer, together with any evidence for or objection against said
vacation and abandonment; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County
Board of Commissioners Vacate and abandon all interest in the County Road Easement as
described above, and as shown on attached Exhibit C; except any existing easements,
franchises, and utilities.
