Consent to contract to move stalls, build roof system
As part of our effort to increase stall capacity,, We came up with a plan to utilize existing stalls
that you had approved to be replaced by new stalls. By taking the Horse stalls out of Barn 46
and 47 and moving them to an Asphalt pad that you approved, we will increase our stall count
by 90. As a rem irider, stalls are where we make the most revenue at $2o/sta.11 per night.
I solicited bids through the MRSC roster as well as local contractors..
Two bids were received below:
J. M. Pacific $26;595.94 including tax
Stan's Construction $24,59x3.86 including tax
I am requesting authorization to enter into a contract (For your signature) with Stan's
Construction. This is one of the projects we discussed using the savings from the Horse -Stall
purcha"se.
I am requesting authorization to award the bid to Stan -s Construction in the amount of
$24,.,593.86 including tax.
The budget line item for this purchase would be 126.168.00.9116.594736210 tallsin46and
