RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION No. 22- -CC
RESOLUTION NO. 22 -080 -CC
RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT
OF A NEW FUND TITLED JAIL
CONSTRUCTION BOND FUND #313.001
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners that a
new fund #313.001 titled "Jail Construction Bond" should be established; and
WHEREAS, this fund will account for bond proceeds the county has received for the
construction of the new jail; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of said fund and transfer of monies into this fund may be
accomplished without a public hearing pursuant to state and county budget laws.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 22 -080 -CC was signed on August 23, 2022 and did not indicate
that the County Treasurer should invest all funds relating to this new Jail Bond Fund #313.001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON that this fund is
hereby created and established as listed above and the Grant County Auditor and the Grant County
Treasurer are hereby directed to establish this fund in their respective offices and the County
Treasurer is directed to invest all funds relating to this newly established fund for the benefit of the
fund.
