RE: Request for Purchase of County Vehicle
Board Members:
Amy L. Paynter, Program Coordinator
On behalf of the Community Court program, I would like to request funds in the amount of
$30,000 be preapproved for release to purchase a new vehicle for use with this program. From a
recent conversation with John Spiess (Public Works), it is highly unlikely a used vehicle will be
available for purchase prior to the end of June (when grant funding must be spent or lost).
Funding for this vehicle would come from the Community Justice Counselor grant fund
001.102.00.9048.512406003. This vehicle will mainly be used to assist in transporting program
participants to and from services and court hearings, and for in-state conference or training
attendances by staff.
