Re: Authorization for Amendment No. 1 between Grant County and the State of
Washington Department of Ecology- Ephrata Landfill Remediation Project.
Authorization to Amend Agreement No. TCPRA-1921-CrCoPW-00052 between the State of
Washington Department of Ecology and Grant County Public Works for the Ephrata Landfill
Remediation Project.
The purpose of Amendment No. 1 is to extend the expiration date of the current grant, add the
AO to the Remedial Investigation J003 task, and revise the budget. The budget would be revised
as follows:
Decrease Engineering Design (J005) by $490,000.00 from $540,000.00 to $50,000.00.
Increase feasibility Study Remedy Selection (J004) by $318,836.97 from $3,970,000.00 to
$4,288,836.97.
Increase Grant and Project Administration (J008) by $50,000.00 from $99,667.00 to
$14907.00.
Decrease Interim and Emergency Actions (J002) by $78,836.97 from $375,000.00 to
$296,163.03.
Increase Remedial Investigations (J003) by $200,000.00 from $2,870,000.00 to $3,070,000.00.
The expiration date of the grant changes from June 30, 2021 to June 30, 2023.
