1) Financial: $24,238 for a total of 138.5 days in August 2022. Average Used Bed = 4.47. Compared to one
year ago,. August 2021 we spent $21,.450 for a total of 130 days.

Courts:
i. OFFENDER/DIVERSION: All civil and criminal matters are still being held via WebEx, and we only
have in person court hearings for Dispositions and Trials. The diversion referrals have been
increasing.
ii. TRUANCY: We had our first Truancy docket yesterday for this school year. We currently have 114
active petitions, 101 total stays, 0 filed so far this school year, 0 stays lifted, and 0 contempt of court
filed this school year.
DEPENDENCY: The dependency unit is also doing regular docket hearings, via WebEx.
Our dependency unit currently has 228 active cases.
2) Martin Hall: This month Martin Hall have been delayed in average about an hour making the total wait
about 3 hours for transportation.

4) Administration:
I. We conducted interviews for the Lead legal Secretary position, and I hired Leigh Ramsey. Leigh has
a BS in Business Management and brings with her years of experience with Truancy Court as well
as supervisory experience. Due to her experience and education, she will be starting at Band 8,
step 3 $23.98/hour. Leigh's first day will be September 29, 2022.
II. 1 will be sending 5 of my staff members to the JCWAW conference in Leavenworth, next month. As
we were able to register with a group rate one, our 5t" staff is free and 4 of my staff are sharing a
room to lower the cost.
5) Needs of the Department
I. I reached out to Kirk and Decorah as to the GAL Administrator position and still waiting to hear
back from them.
II. 1 have been working with Tom Gaines regarding Phoenix Security and their court coverage for our
location. We have had no shows, and security guards showing late to our court hearings. The
Superior Court Judges want a security officer every time we have court, including Thursdays and
Fridays for our dependency trials. Phoenix security seems to have issues with the contracted
number of guards that they currently have.
