RESOLUTION No. 22- I a a -CC
WHEREAS, the following Grant County funds do not have an adequate level of budget for the
following expenses:
District Court request in the amount of $150,000.00 for audio/visual improvements to the
courtrooms (001.102).
Grants Administration Fund (190.001) in the amount of $45,177.00 to receive a Washington State
Department of Commerce Shelter Program Grant (No. 21-4610C-104)
WHEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing the 2022
budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 3 6.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to authorize
additional budget appropriations.
WHEREAS, on the 29th day of November 2022 at 3:15 p.m., a public hearing was held in the
Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that a budget
appropriation in the total amount of $195,177.00 to be allocated to the 2022 budget according to the
following schedule of categories and items:
