District Court Budget Extensions

The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider the following budget extension
requests from District Court:
• in the amount of $100,000.00 (Fund# 001.102) to fund the Community Justice Counselor
position.
• in the amount of $125,000.00 (Fund# 001.102) to support the development of the Community
Court Program.
A motion was made by Commissioner Jones, seconded by Commissioner Carter, to close the public
comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. A motion was made by
Commissioner Carter, seconded by Commissioner Jones to approve the budget extensions as presented.
The motion passed unanimously.
