4:00 p.m. The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider a budget extension
request from Superior Court in the amount of $1,000.00 (Fund# 001.103) to receive grant funds from
the Criminal Justice Treatment Act (GTA) to fund the administrative purposes for the Drug Court
Program.
Tifini Fairbanks, Superior Court Drug Court Coordinator gave a brief synopsis of their request.
A motion was made by Commissioner Carter, seconded by Commissioner Jones, to close the public
comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. A motion
was made by Commissioner Carter, seconded by Commissioner Jones to approve the budget extension
as presented. The motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance.
