Adoption of the 2023 Preliminary Grant County Budget

8:30 a.m. The Commissioners held an Open Public Meeting to adopt the 2023 Grant County Preliminary
Budget.
Katie Smith, Chief Accountant stated the preliminary budget being presented today is in the total
amount of $326,141,149.00. Current Expense budget is in the total amount of $60,457,250.00. This
amount included an amount of $7,864,427.00 from beginning fund balance (reserve) needed in order to
balance expenses and revenues.
The Commissioners began the individual meetings with Departments and Office regarding all budgets.
